Student Advisors
A Student Advisor pledges to be an enthusiastic supporter of the Orientation 2008 program and commits his or her energy to involving all of their advisees in their group activities and in all Orientation events.
A Student Advisor is a role model for new students who pledges to conduct themselves in a manner befitting for their position. They are consistent in words and actions with the objectives of the Orientation program and with the values of The Johns Hopkins University. Orientation is an alcohol-free program, which strives to demonstrate to new students that it is possible to have fun without drinking; They pledge not to undermine this message. They also pledge to uphold the conduct and standards of the University, to advance its educational mission, and to reflect the best of what it means to be a student leader at Johns Hopkins.
